Dr. Michel Stephan has been performing Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery since 1988 and Laparoscopic Bariatric Surgery since 2002.

Dr. Stephan completed his General Surgery Residency at Conemaugh Valley Memorial Hospital in Johnstown, Pennsylvania / Temple University School of Medicine Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1980.  He completed a Fellowship in Cardiovascular Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas in 1981.

Dr. Stephan is Board certified by the American Board of Surgery in General Surgery.  He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.  He also participates in several Professional Societies such as the American Society of Bariatric Surgery, American Medical Association, Texas Medical Association and the Dallas County Medical Society.
